Community Outreach

Fresh Start Program:  St. James congregation receives donations and then purchases heatlth care products for the students and families that attend the New Approach Alternative School in Vandalia.  Each month, different products are collected, organized and blessed during the worship service before taken to the students.

6:35 Food Pantry:  St. James members take their turn every few months in helping with the distribution of food, mik to those in need from the local communities.  The 6:35 Food Pantry, coordinated through the Vandalia Association of Churches, is organized and dependant on donations from local stores.
